Barry Hall
Barry Hall is a playwright, director, actor and teacher of theatre. His own plays are published and have been widely produced on four continents. As an actor, he has appeared in dozens of theater productions, most recently Butterfly Effect’s The Diary of Anne Frank. He holds an MFA in theatre from Sarah Lawrence College and has received fellowships from the Japan Foundation and the Edward F. Albee Foundation. After a lifetime of struggle in life, work and relationships, he received a diagnosis of ASD in middle age. He presently lives in Taiwan with his two exhausting, maddening, delightful sons, one of whom is also on the spectrum.
